Overdose Prevention Community Project: Outreach to Local Businesses

Background

In recent years, we have seen an increase in overdoses in the community, largely due to fentanyl (a synthetic opioid 50-100 times more potent than morphine). Many overdoses happen in public spaces and workplaces. Employers play a power role in helping save lives in response to this epidemic.

Take Action

We provide tools to help employers train their teams on how to use naloxone as part of workplace safety and preparedness. This includes educational materials, naloxone kits, naloxone training and a template for a Naloxone Policy and Procedure.
