In 2021, Opioid Task Force members voted to adopt a new name, vision, mission and equity statements that exemplified its unified approach to the growing crisis of opioids and other drugs and commitment to lift up the principles of equity and inclusion.

Vision: Aiming to improve systems collaboration to create opportunities for people affected by substance use to live the life they choose.

Mission: Strengthen and improve the health of our communities by reducing preventable harms and death from substance use through education, coordination, and meaningful engagement.

Equity Statement: The Clackamas Community Alliance (CCA) is working to make Clackamas County a place where people thrive, have a sense of safety, connection, and belonging and each person is honored and celebrated for the richness in diversity they bring.

CCA aims to invite all entities and individuals with a desire to create equitable access to health resources through collaboration on opioid and substance-related activities with the goal of decreasing harms and overdose deaths in Clackamas County.
